Ghajini is a 2008 Indian action psychological thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Allu Aravind, Tagore Madhu and Madhu Mantena. The soundtrack and score is by A. R. Rahman. It is a remake of Murugadoss's own 2005 Tamil film of the same name starring Aamir Khan in the lead role along with Asin and it became the highest-grossing movie of that year and the first Hindi film to cross the ₹100 crore mark. It stars Aamir Khan, Asin and Jiah Khan in lead roles while Pradeep Rawat and Riyaz Khan essay supporting roles. The film's main plot was adapted from Christopher Nolan's Memento. and comedy plot was inspired by 1951 British movie Happy Go Lovely.

The film explores the life of a rich businessman who develops anterograde amnesia following a violent encounter in which his love interest, model Kalpana, was killed. He tries to avenge the killing with the aid of Polaroid Instant camera photographs and permanent tattoos on his body. Aamir Khan's character was featured in a 3D video game titled Ghajini – The Game, which is based on the movie. On release it became the highest-grossing movie of all time until it was beaten by another Aamir Khan movie 3 Idiots the following year. Ghajini's paid preview collections were ₹27 million (US$400,000). With this movie, Asin made her debut in Bollywood.

Sunita (Jiah Khan) is a medical student, working on a project about the human brain with her class friend. When she is denied access by her professor to the curious case of Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan), a man reported to have anterograde amnesia, because it is under criminal investigation, Sunita decides to investigate the matter herself.

It is revealed that Sanjay loses his memory every 15 minutes. He uses a system of photographs, notes, and tattoos on his body to recover his memory after each cycle to remind himself of his mission: to avenge the death of his beloved Kalpana (Asin). He systematically kills the people who were tied to the murder. His main target is Ghajini Dharmatma (Pradeep Rawat), a notable social personality in the city, and the man directly responsible for Kalpana's death and Sanjay's condition.

Anjali and Nandu initially don't get along but must make do to retain their low-rent accommodation.

Meanwhile, an electronics salesman named Jeetu (Akshaye Khanna) is struggling to find a loan to start his own business. His wealthy dad refuses to loan him. He discusses his situation with his friend Anil (Sanjay Narvekar) who tells him that the best way to access funds is to marry into them, i.e. marry someone's rich daughter. He also confides in Jeetu and tells him that by seducing the daughter of a rich person named Kachara Seth (Shakti Kapoor) and marrying her, he too would become rich. He plans to make himself appear rich and expects that, once married, the father-in-law will be able to do nothing upon discovering the truth. Jodhaa Akbar is a sixteenth-century love story about a political marriage of convenience between a Mughal emperor, Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodhaa. The beautiful and fiery daughter of King Bharmal of Amer, Jodhaa gets betrothed to another rajput king and her dowry was her father's crown, which will pass to that rajput king, after his death. Through this arrangement, the son of elder brother of the king Sujjamal gets declined of his rightful throne and he leaves the kingdom angrily to join rebels. But when Mughal empire plans to attack Amer, king Bharmal, resentfully offers his daughter's hand to the emperor himself to avoid war. Akbar agrees to the marriage as it would bring forward a true strong alliance and long lasting peace between the empire and rajputs. Jodhaa completely resented being reduced to a mere political pawn and she wants to marry Rajput king she was betrothed previously. She writes a letter to Sujjamal, her cousin (whom she sees as her own brother) entreating him to come rescue her from the marriage, she couldn't send it though. Jodhaa shares all her misery with her mother, who tells her to send a servant girl in her place. Jodhaa replies that it would deceive Akbar and would be death to their kingdom if he finds out. Then, her mother gives her a vial of poison and tells her to use it if need arises.

After their marriage, Jodhaa acts reluctant with Akbar and they do not consummate their marriage. Later Akbar controls the rebellion and announces that every religion has its rights in his kingdom. Eventually he becomes the founder of a new religion called Din-e-Ellahi, which combines both Hinduism and Islam.

Although this makes her dislike Prem initially, when she finds out his stammer is authentic, the two become friends. Prem's feelings eventually blossom to love, although Jenny is oblivious to this and only considers him a friend. When he tries to tell Jenny his feelings, he finds out that Jenny is in love with her college friend Rahul (Upen Patel). Though publicised as a remake, the film borrows only the basic plot of the original, while making the characters and incidents completely different. The film's title was taken from a poem of the same name by Harivansh Rai Bachchan, which forms a thematic link through the film, both literally and metaphorically.

Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan and Sanjay Dutt plays the role of the antagonist Kancha, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa respectively, with Rishi Kapoor portraying the newly introduced character of Rauf Lala. Since childhood, Indhiran has been suffering from narcolepsy, a rare disorder, which makes him fall asleep whenever his emotions reach an extreme and hinders him from living an ordinary life. He needs to be accompanied all the time, companies hesitate to hire him, although he has excelled in academics, and he cannot impregnate women since he would fall asleep during sex. However, he can still hear whatever is being said when he is sleeping.

Indhiran creates a list with 10 goals he wants to achieve on his own. One day, he ventures out alone, which was one of his goals. When he is almost hit by a vehicle while crossing the road, his fear mounts and he falls asleep in the middle of the road. A passerby (Mayilsamy) makes him pose as an orphaned corpse and gathers money from onlookers for his burial. Meera (Lakshmi Menon), who passes by, takes pity and shells out almost five grands.

She later meets Indhiran in a mall and falls unconscious, seeing him alive. When Ajay saves Swapna, he humiliates Reddy by pushing him into a mudpond. Reddy refuses to cleanse the mud until Swapna is found and brought back. Ajay helps Swapna escape and takes her to his house in Old city, hiding her in his room with the help of his sister, Asha.

Soon, his parents find out she is hiding in their house. Swapna and Ajay run away again and she falls in love with him. The next day, the police led by Ajay's father surround the Charminar where Swapna is hidden by Ajay. The duo along with Ajay's friends reach the airport to go to the United States. They bring her parents to see her one last time before she leaves. After Swapna is past airport security, Ajay realises he loves Swapna. She shows up and hugs him while proposing him.

At the airport, Ajay's father arrests him while Reddy's men take Swapna away. After Swapna taunts him by saying that Ajay will definitely come for her, Reddy goes to the jail and asks Ajay to come with him. Here, Ajay's father expresses that he's not worried about Ajay; rather, he's worried for Reddy. Reddy and his henchmen are kidnapped by Ajay who along with his friends attends the finals of national level tournament.

Meanwhile, Obul Reddy's brother Siva Reddy, who happens to be the home minister of the state, is waiting at the venue of Reddy's marriage with Swapna. After coming to know about his whereabouts, Siva reaches the stadium along with Swapna and his mother where Ajay and Reddy are fighting with each other. Swapna's father stabs Reddy whereas his mother dies in a bomb-blast. Siva decides not to react as it would harm his position as a minister and Ajay, whose team won the match, celebrates the victory with Swapna and his family.

Ship of Theseus is a 2013 Indian drama film written and directed by Anand Gandhi, and produced by actor Sohum Shah. The film explores "questions of identity, justice, beauty, meaning and death through the stories of an experimental photographer, an ailing monk and an enterprising stockbroker", played by Aida El-Kashef, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah.

After three years in development, the film premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received great critical acclaim and was touted as "the hidden gem of the year". It has received highly positive reviews from both Indian and international press and has been hailed as "the most significant film to come out of India in a very long time". Film critic Derek Malcolm has called it a "life-changing film" and Variety commended its "unexpected grandeur".

The title of the film alludes to Theseus’ paradox, most notably recorded in Life of Theseus, wherein the Greek historian and philosopher Plutarch inquires whether a ship that has been restored by replacing all its parts remains the same ship.

The film released in India on 19 July 2013. It won the award for the Best Feature Film of the year at the 61st National Film Awards.

Aaliya Kamal (Aida El-Kashef) is a visually impaired and celebrated Egyptian photographer in the process of undergoing a cornea transplant that will restore her vision. Though the surgery is a success and Aaliya’s vision is restored, she has trouble adjusting to her new found sense of sight and is dissatisfied with her resulting photography.

Maitreya (Neeraj Kabi), an erudite Jain monk, is part of a petition to ban animal testing in India. When he is diagnosed with liver cirrhosis, his reluctance towards animal tested medication is questioned and he must now depend on the people he’s been fighting against – a path he refuses to take.

A young Indian stockbroker, Navin (Sohum Shah), has just received a new kidney. He soon learns of a case of organ theft involving an impoverished bricklayer, Shankar. He initially fears that his new kidney was the one stolen from Shankar. When he learns that the recipient of the kidney lives in Sweden, he decides to go there to help Shankar get his kidney back – but is Shankar perhaps better helped by a large financial settlement instead of having two kidneys again?

Kal Ho Naa Ho (English: There May or May Not Be a Tomorrow), abbreviated as KHNH, is a 2003 Indian romantic drama, directed by debutante director Nikkhil Advani. The film was written by Niranjan Iyengar and Karan Johar and produced by Yash Johar (In his last production venture) and Karan Johar under their Dharma Productions banner. The music of the film was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics written by Javed Akhtar.

The film features, Jaya Bachchan as Jennifer "Jenny" Kapur, Shahrukh Khan as Aman Mathur, Saif Ali Khan as Rohit Patel, and Preity Zinta as Naina Catherine Kapur. It also features Lilette Dubey, Reema Lagoo, Sushma Seth and Delnaaz Paul in supporting roles. The film narrates the story of a pessimistic uptight student, Naina Kapur, who falls in love with her neighbour, Aman Mathur, a terminally ill patient who tries to play matchmaker for Naina and her friend, Rohit Patel.

Kal Ho Naa Ho was promoted with the tag-line – A Story of a Lifetime.... In a Heartbeat. Made on a budget of ₹280 million, Kal Ho Naa Ho released on 28 November 2003 to positive critical reviews. Additionally, it was screened at the Valenciennes, Era New Horizons, Marrakech International and Helsinki Film Festival.

The film was a commercial success and emerged as the second highest-grossing film domestically, and the highest-grossing film in overseas and worldwide that year. When adjusted for inflation, its total nett gross in India is ₹1.21 billion (US$18 million). The following year, Kal Ho Naa Ho won two National Film Awards and eight Filmfare Awards. The film was paid homage by the German Embassy in India by releasing a short 8 minute video named Lebe jetzt. The film was remade in Telugu as Chakram.
