Udaan (Hindi: उड़ान; lit. "Flight") is a 2010 Hindi language Indian coming of age-drama film produced by Sanjay Singh, Anurag Kashyap and Ronnie Screwvala; and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. It is roughly based on the real life of Anurag Kashyap. The film was officially selected to compete in the Un Certain Regard (A Certain Glance) category at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. The film was not immediately successful at the box office when released, but is regarded as a cult classic in Indian cinema.

17-year-old Rohan is expelled from the reputed Bishop Cotton School, Shimla boarding school along with three friends Vikram, Benoy and Maninder when they are caught by their warden watching an adult movie off campus.

Rohan returns home to Jamshedpur to a stern and abusive father and a 6-year-old half-brother, Arjun (whose existence Rohan hadn't known about), not knowing what's in store for him. His father forces him to jog every morning and race him at the last leg. Rohan then must work at his father's metal works factory and attend engineering classes at the local university immediately afterwards. His father's disappointment takes the form of verbal and physical abuse and constant humiliation. Rohan's kind uncle supports his ambitions of being a writer but his father will have none of it. One night he sneaks out of the house, takes his father's car and goes to a local bar. There he meets some seniors from his college who try to rag him but later become his friends. This - taking his father's car and drinking at the bar - becomes a regular habit.

The film is the second film in the Raaz series, but story-wise, it is not a direct sequel to the 2002 film Raaz. The film deals with issues of the "evil within" the human psyche and how it manifests itself. It is based on the myths and superstitions that are still widely existent in the contemporary Indian society. The film attempts to challenge one’s beliefs about paranormal phenomena. Emraan Hashmi plays a painter, named Prithvi, who has an extraordinary gift, the ability to paint the future. His paintings tell Nandita's (Kangana Ranaut) future.

The film opened to theaters on 23 January 2009. It received generally mixed reviews and became a "semi hit" at the box office. A third installment in the Raaz series was released in 2013 with Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Some of the scenes of the movie were similar to those of the Hollywood movies The Ring 2 and Gothika[citation needed]. It was first in a series of quasi-sequels released under the Bhatt Banner including Murder 2, Jannat 2, Jism 2, Raaz 3D and 1920: Evil Returns, each of which had nothing to do with their respective prequels, but somehow fell in the same genre following a similar story.

Cops in Kolkata ask Taxi and Auto drivers for help in nabbing criminal members of Rahul's gang and prepare a suspect list. Ganesh identifies one of the suspects and informs the police about the where abouts of the criminals which leads to a large haul of illegal weapons, drugs, money and also arrest of many of lower level gang members belonging to Rahul. Frustrated Aniket finds Ganesh and brings him to his Yacht to be killed, but is instead killed by Ganesh who becomes extremely violent during the altercation. Simultaneously Ganesh gets acquainted with Swetha(Shruti Hassan) and Swetha's brother Arjun(Ashwin) gets acquainted with Thamizh in two separate incidents and they are attracted to each other and Arjun gets his parents to meet and officially ask for Thamizhs hand in marriage.

Kashmir is in turmoil because of terrorists trying to take over the land and the Indian army trying to find and eliminate them. Army commander Aman meets Adaa when posted to Kashmir to fight the insurgents. Adaa lives with her father, grandmother and a mute adopted sister. Adaa's brother Shakeel has joined hands with the terrorists to gain a free Kashmir. Circumstances soon lead to Aman and Adaa falling in love. Aman does not let the army know about his new relationship. He is given the task of finding and eliminating terrorists; he captures their leader, who happens to be Shakeel's mentor. Adaa's family learns about her affair with Aman. Her grandmother approves of the relationship, but her father requests Aman to stay away from them, as their love will not be approved in that place.

A disappointed Aman is then given another mission. Acting on a tip off, he and his men go to raid a terrorist hideout but are attacked by the terrorists. Many insurgents are killed, and Aman and four comrades are taken captive by Shakeel. They demand the release of their leader from the government in exchange for the soldiers. But Adaa finds her brother's hideout, goes there, and pleads with him not to harm Aman. Using the opportunity, Aman breaks free and escapes with Adaa, just as the army besieges the place and rescues the captured army men.

Subhash Nagre (Amitabh Bachchan), who is known by his followers as , lives in Mumbai. His son, Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon), plays a sleazy producer who is more interested in the film actress Sapna (Nisha Kothari) than his wife Amrita (Rukhsar). His other, more upright son, Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan), returns from the United States with his love Pooja (Katrina Kaif) after completing his education there. Pooja's doubts about Sarkar's image cause Shankar, who firmly believes in his father's righteousness, to break up with her later in the movie.

One day, a Dubai-based don, Rasheed (Zakir Hussain) tries to strike a deal with him; he promptly refuses on moral grounds and also forbids him from doing it himself. It is the 1950s, and Indian Navy Officer Pavri (Akshay Kumar) is happily married to Cynthia Pavri (Ileana D'Cruz). Their marriage hits the rocks when discovers his wife's affair with his friend Vikram Makhija (Arjan Bajwa). After returning early from a trip to the seas, discovers Vikram's love letters in Cynthia's cupboard. While trying to find her, sees them together. He returns home and waits for Cynthia to return and then confronts her with the love letters, but walks away before Cynthia can explain. then gets himself a pistol from the Naval Ship's Armory and makes a Trunk call to Delhi. Afterward, he searches for Vikram, first in his office and then at his home. After enters Vikram's bedroom, the servant hears three gun shots and rushes to the room, to discover Vikram's body in a pool of blood and Rustom walking away with the pistol in his hand. immediately surrenders to police and Inspector Vincent Lobo (Pawan Malhotra) starts investigation.

Vikram's sister Priti Makhija (Esha Gupta) hires the best lawyer in the city Lakshman Khangani (Sachin Khedekar) to get toughest punishment possible. A local newspaper TRUTH publishes the news adding some spice to it, which creates a stir in the city. On the one side the Navy supports its officer and asks police to hand over his custody while on the other side the Parsi community offers help by hiring a good defense lawyer. Rustom refuses everybody's help and decides to fight the case on his own. While the Editor in Chief of Truth, Eraj Billimoria (Kumud Mishra), creates a sympathetic image for Rustom in public, Rustom's senior Navy officer Prashant Kamat (Parmeet Sethi) sends two goons to his house to search for a set of documents, but they fail to find anything. Scared, Cynthia rushes to jail to inform Rustom, who hasn't talked to her. Rustom finally meets and listens to Cynthia's story, about how she was lonely and upset when Rustom went away to London for many months. Vikram took advantage of her loneliness and Cynthia fell for him, but on the day of Vikram's murder Cynthia had already broken-up with him for the sake of their marriage.

On instructions, Cynthia blackmails Prashant Kamat for 5 crore rupees in exchange for the documents he needed. In the court hearing, unexpectedly pleads not guilty in front of the judge, which leads to a jury trial. The crux of the case is whether Commander shot Vikram in "self-defense" or whether it was premeditated murder. At the culmination of the trial, Rustom is found not guilty and is freed. Rustom reconciles with Cynthia.

The film was screened in New Delhi on August 17th 2016 as part of the week long Independence Day Film Festival. The festival was jointly presented by the Indian Directorate of Film Festivals and Ministry of Defense, commemorating India's 70th Independence Day.

Jessica Loren, a rookie police officer on her first assignment, is ordered to take the last shift at a police station before it is permanently closed. Her mother pleads with her not to take the job, as her father, also a police officer, was killed while on duty. After assuring her mother that the shift will be uneventful, she reports for duty. After Loren surprises her commanding officer, Sgt. Cohen demands that she turn around. Apparently satisfied, he leads her on a brief tour, during which he explains that a HAZMAT team will be there shortly to collect evidence that is difficult to dispose of. Under no circumstances is she allowed to leave her post. Before Cohen leaves, he gives her his phone number in case of emergency.

Anand (Salman Khan) is deeply in love with a girl named Maya (Rimi Sen). He intentionally throws her into a swimming pool, thinking she can swim, for the sake of getting back at her pranks. However, Maya drowns. After her death, Anand's life is completely shattered and he becomes insane.

Anand is brought to Sir Richard's Mental Sanatorium. His elder brother requests the doctors to admit him immediately. However, they insist on evaluating his mental condition before taking any decision. On being asked a few questions, Anand does not show any signs of insanity, and the doctors conclude that there is nothing wrong with him. Just then, Anand spots a housefly on the table. He tries to capture it but it evades him. While Anand's brother is arguing with the doctors, Anand suddenly becomes very violent, picking up a club and using it to hit everything the fly lands on. This convinces the doctors that he is indeed insane, and they finally admit him.

In the sanatorium, Anand tries to makes friends with other inmates. The chief doctor, Dr. Khurana (Om Puri), is very strict; the two other main doctors are Dr. Sunil (Jackie Shroff) and Dr. Tanvi Khurana (Kareena Kapoor), Dr. Khurana's daughter. Sunil turns out to be Anand's close childhood friend. Anand makes a commotion everyday and behaves like a child. This upsets Tanvi and she almost removes him from the asylum. However, when she finds out about his past, she feels bad and apologizes to him. She starts spending time with him, they become good friends, and she falls in love with him. Tanvi and Sunil work together to cure Anand and make him remember his past. This works, and Anand is finally cured. He decides to leave the asylum but stays when Tanvi expresses her love to him. He reciprocates her love and the two are happy with each other. But there is a problem: Tanvi is engaged to Karan (Sunil Shetty).

When Tanvi's father, Dr. Khurana finds out about her and Anand, he is angered. He tells Tanvi to leave him but she refuses. When Karan finds out, he tells Tanvi to go with Anand. At the asylum, Anand explodes into a violent rage against Dr. Khurana, which results in Khurana lobotomizing him. Sunil and Tanvi arrive at the asylum to smuggle Anand out so that he and Tanvi can run away together, but it is too late when Sunil finds out about Anand's lobotomy. Realizing he is better off dead, Sunil sorrowfully kills his neurologically-disabled friend by suffocating him with a pillow. After Sunil confesses to Khurana about the act of euthanasia, Tanvi becomes insane due to the shock of Anand's death. She is admitted as a patient in the same asylum.

The literal meaning of the title can be translated as "Paint me with the colours of spring." It features an ensemble cast comprising Aamir Khan, Siddharth Narayan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Atul Kulkarni and British actress Alice Patten in the lead roles. Made on a budget of ₹250 million (US$3.7 million), it was shot in and around New Delhi. Upon release, the film broke all opening box office records in India. It was the highest-grossing film in its opening weekend in India and had the highest opening day collections for a Bollywood film. The film was well received and praised for strong screenplay and dialogues.

The story is about a British documentary filmmaker who is determined to make a film on Indian freedom fighters based on diary entries by her grandfather, a former officer of the British Indian Army. Upon arriving in India, she asks a group of five young men to act in her film.

Rang De Basanti's release faced stiff resistance from the Indian Defence Ministry and the Animal Welfare Board due to parts that depicted the use of MiG-21 fighter aircraft and a banned Indian horse race.

The film was released globally on 26 January 2006, the Republic Day of India, it received critical acclaim winning National award for most popular film and it is also rated as 8.4 out of 10 on IMDB which is one of the highest among Bollywood films. It was subsequently nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2006 BAFTA Awards. Khogiram Gwala, Ritu Gwala and their children Pinu and Rimzim .They don't have enough money for uniform or shoes. Things become worse when Pinu misplaces Rimzim's only pair of shoes in the vegetable shop. Pinu tells Rimzim about the shoes and begs her not to tell their mother; she agrees. Rimzim can't go to school without her shoes. They work out a scheme where both of them share the same shoes. Rimzim will wear them to school in the morning and hand them off to Pinu at midday so he can attend afternoon classes. However, Pinu always gets into trouble at school waiting for Rimzim to give him the shoes. She takes Pinu to their house to shows the place and they find out that family is poorer than them. A day after, Rimzim is attracted to a new shiny pair of shoes that the same poor girl is wearing. She asks her about what she did with her previous pair of shoes and when she learns that the girl had thrown away her old pair of shoes, she is greatly disappointed. Temporarily, Khogiram, desperate for money, borrows some gardening equipment and heads off with Pinu to the rich suburbs of the town to find some gardening work. They try many mansions until a mansion belonging to a 6-year-old girl and her grandmother agreed. While Pinu plays with the 6-year-old girl, his father works. Meanwhile, Pinu comes to know of the Interschool Marathon where one of the prizes is a pair of shoes. Pinu enters the marathon race in the hope of receiving the third prize of a new pair of sneakers (the first prize being free education to the winner till he completes high school), which he could exchange for girl sneakers and give to Rimzim. He accidentally wins the race and is placed first. He is shocked and cries on the podium as he watches in despair at the new pair of sneakers being awarded to the third placed runner. The film ends with Rimzim finding out that she will not get a new pair of shoes, but there is a quick shot of their father's bicycle at the end of the movie that shows what appears to be red shoes with red trimming for Rimzim and another pair of white basketball shoes, presumably for Pinu, whose old shoes were torn from so much use.

Black Friday is a 2007 Indian crime film written and directed by Anurag Kashyap based on Black Friday – The True Story of the Bombay Bomb Blasts, a book by Hussain Zaidi about the 1993 Bombay bombings. The film's creative consultant, Chandramohan Puppala, attempted to recreate those events and the intense feelings that followed them. It won the Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and was a nominee for the Best Film (Golden Leopard) award at the Locarno International Film Festival. The film was so controversial that the Indian Censor Board did not allow it to be released in India for three years and was finally released on 9 February 2007 after Supreme Court of India allowed it following the verdict in the '93 Bombay blast case was delivered by TADA court.

On 9 March 1993 a small-time thug, Gul Mohammed, is detained at the Nav Pada police station and confesses to a conspiracy underway to bomb major locations around the city. The police dismiss his confession and, three days later, Bombay is torn apart by a series of explosions leaving 257 dead and close to 1,400 injured. Investigators discover that the bombs were made of RDX, smuggled into the city with the aid of customs officials and the border police.

In turn, the film traces the motive for the blasts to the Bombay riots, the bloody warring between the Hindu and Muslim communities from December 1992 to January 1993, which left over 1500 people dead. The Bombay riots were an unprecedented outburst of violence and abuse, resulting in enormous emotional trauma and property loss. Tiger Memon (Pavan Malhotra) is an underworld don whose office is burnt to cinders during the riots. The suffering of the Muslim minorities in the riots incites a meeting of underworld leaders in Dubai, who then take it on themselves to seek retribution. Tere Naam was released on 15 August 2003. Khan was highly praised for his portrayal of Radhe Mohan and the role is widely considered to be his finest performance till date. Tere Naam was nominated for a total of 24 Awards, winning 7 of them, including 8 Filmfare Award nominations. In 2011 Kaushik announced a sequel to Tere Naam, thus he is currently working on the script.

Radhe Mohan (Salman Khan) is a rough and uncouth college rowdy and also The Students Union Chairman of the college, who uses violence as the only way to deal with people. He lives with his brother, a Magistrate (Sachin Khedekar), and his sister-in-law, who is the only person who seems to understand him properly.

The movie opens with Radhe winning the elections to the office bearers of the college's Students Union followed by celebrations and in-campus fight between the rival candidates.

Radhe has a staple diet of yes-sir friends surrounding him. He comes across a timid girl, Nirjara (Bhumika Chawla), who is the daughter of a poor temple priest, and starts to woo her. When she initially rejects him, he kidnaps her and forces her to fall in love with him.

When the girl falls in love with him, Radhe is attacked by brothel goons and ends up in a swamiji ashram with brain damage. With no memory of his past and having developed an unusual behaviour, he starts to recollect memories. At one point, he is completely back to his normal self and tries to escape by climbing over the gates. Unfortunately, he fails and ends up with serious injuries.

Whilst sleeping with his injury, Nirjara makes a surprise visit. However Radhe is asleep and she leaves with this woeful memory of him. As she is about to leave the institution, he wakes up and realises that she had come to see him. As he calls out, she leaves unable to hear him.

Persistent to meet her he makes another attempt to leave the institution and this time he is successful. When he arrives at her house he is presented with his love unfortunately dead. He realises that she had committed suicide.

Distraught after what he saw, he just walks out and at that point he is met with the mental institution wardens who came chasing after him. The film ends with Radhe leaving with them as he has nothing to live for after his true love's death.

Dynamite is a Telugu film "guest-directed" by Deva Katta -who filmed some portions of the talkie part for about 10 days out of 56 days total shoot-and produced by Manchu Vishnu under the banner 24 Frames Factory featuring himself, Pranitha Subhash, J. D. Chakravarthy in pivotal roles. It is the official Tamil remake of Arima Nambi. The audio sound track of the film was released on 6 June 2015. The movie was released worldwide 4 September 2015.

Kalaipuli S. Thanu sold the Telugu remake rights of his production Arima Nambi to his friend include Telugu actor Mohan Babu after weeks of its release. Mohan Babu's elder son Manchu Vishnu was confirmed to play the male lead while Deva Katta was confirmed to direct some portions of the talkie part. Vishnu also bankrolled the film under his banner 24 Frames Factory. He registered the title Edhureetha for the film and an official confirmation was awaited. The film's title however was announced as Dynamite on 1 March 2015.

For his role, Vishnu planned to learn freestyle martial arts. He pierced his ears for the role on Deva Katta's request. He also had to sport a long tattoo on his left arm and said that the tattoo gave an edge to his character in the film. Vishnu underwent training in freestyle martial arts at Bangkok from mid December 2014. Adah Sharma was reported to be the film's female lead in early November 2014. Trisha Choudury was also considered for the female lead role in mid December 2014. A press release on 28 December 2014 confirmed Pranitha Subhash as the film's female lead, and J. D. Chakravarthy as the lead antagonist.

She was reported to play the role of a final year college student and regarding her selection, Vishnu said "We were looking for an actress who can have a classy look and she fits the bill. Her look will be a revelation in the movie. Moreover, this is the first time she's paired opposite me, so I believe that our pairing will look fresh on screen". He also added that Pranitha would join the film's sets in early January 2015.

The story of the film has been totally created by Gupta himself and the script was written five years before the development, prior to Paanch Adhyay.

Though titles like Jimmy Jaya Javed and Trikaal were initially into consideration for the film, it was finally chosen to be Shaheb Bibi Golaam.

The film marks the first collaboration between the director and the lead actors. Though Mukherjee was initially opted for the female lead in Paanch Adhyay, the role later switched over to Dia Mirza. Anjan Dutt instantly gave a nod to the film when he heard the script while being in a casual discussion with Gupta. Dutt will be playing the role of a middle-aged Anglo-Indian contract-killer and Mukherjee's character will be that of middle-class housewife. Ritwick Chakraborty will be portraying the role of a taxi driver, who is in a relationship with the character played by Parno Mittra.

Shooting for the film started from November 2014.

The music for Shaheb Bibi Golaam is composed by Anupam Roy and the lyrics have been penned by Anupam himself. The music rights have been acquired by Amara Muzik. The full music album was released on 6 August 2016.

The story starts with an introduction of three brothers. The eldest Chixie Gill (Om Puri), is a small-time shop owner with 3 obese daughters whom no one wants to marry and a nagging wife (whom he would like to send back to her parents house). He dreamed of opening a big cloth store in his younger days but their grandfather was not ready to sell their village land for the money needed. The middle brother, Happy Gill (Deepak Dobriyal) is a dentist who has only one diagnosis for any tooth ailment, shifting pain. As a result, he has no patients but a long line of creditors (whose teeth he has removed more than once). He wants to get rid of all his debts and open a big dry-cleaning shop. He was in love with Gurleen Kaur (Ragini Khanna) in his younger days when they got separated. The youngest, Fancy Gill (Shreyas Talpade) is an aspiring actor who wants to go Hollywood, but only gets roles in Punjabi cinema, where his habit of putting in disco and English dialogues leads to him being thrown out quite often.

On the death of their grandfather, by the requirement of his will, they need get together for 3 years on the day of his death anniversary before midnight at the cabin. If not, the property around the cabin (worth crores of rupees) will be forfeited. Also every year one of them has to take care of their grandfather's ashes starting from the eldest and pass it on to the next younger on that day. For the much needed money, they somehow manage to make it through two years, but the last year holds a lot for them. Snowstorms, trespassers, foreign babes with drugs,etc. bring them close to each other and make up their differences.

The climax brings in a twist that wraps up the story nicely.

This is the third Hindi version and the first film version of the story in Hindi done in colour. The film follows Devdas (Shah Rukh Khan), a wealthy law graduate in the early 1900s, who returns from his studies in London to marry his childhood sweetheart, Paro (Aishwarya Rai). However, the rejection of this marriage by his own family sparks his descent into alcohol, ultimately leading to his emotional deterioration. The film was screened retrospective, during the 2014 International Film Festival of India in the Celebrating Dance in Indian cinema section. Devdas was declared a hit in India by Box Office India and won the Filmfare Award for Best Film. The film also won five National Awards and a further nine Filmfare Awards, tied with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge with the most Filmfare Awards any film had won at the time (later beaten in 2005 by Bhansali's Black).

It was received well by western audiences alike and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Language Film and was also India's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. It was ranked #74 in Empire magazines "The 100 Best Films Of World Cinema" in 2010. Time Magazine named Devdas as the best movie of 2002 among all the movies released around the world that year. The film was recently included in Time Magazine's top 10 movies of the millennium worldwide.
